Since its establishment in 1931, MUREXIN GmbH has grown into an international group of companies. In addition to the newly built technical centre, the headquarters in Wiener Neustadt also houses the administration building, powder and wet production, laboratory, central warehouse and logistics.
The traditional Lower Austrian company operates other production sites in Mühlheim am Main (DE), Szekszárd (HU) and Puconci (SI). MUREXIN products are available in around 30 export markets through direct sales, distribution partners or established subsidiaries.
The desire for continuous further development, future orientation and curiosity drive the approximately 480 motivated and experienced employees to constantly improve the quality of the products and processes. The customers’ requirements and the provision of high-quality construction chemical products to them are the focus of all activities. MUREXIN has been recognized as a leading Austrian company and stands for competent support and service at a high level: together we create something that lasts. Cohesion, exchange of experiences and further training are key components of our everyday working life, and make a significant contribution to the company’s success.
As a company of Schmid Industrie Holding GmbH, MUREXIN is part of a traditional Austrian group. This family includes companies such as Austrotherm, Baumit, Furtenbach, Wopfinger Transportbeton, Lorencic and Ortner.
MUREXIN is the partner of choice for construction professionals when it comes to perfectly coordinated products and systems. There are around 3,000 products for tilers and floor layers, coaters, sealers and painters in six main product divisions. The Concrete and Screed Technology division includes classic building materials, thermal insulation fillers and repair products. At Murexin, the high quality standards are not just limited to raw materials, manufacturing processes and product variety: ecology and sustainability are likewise key issues.
