Mosaic glass

Mosaics are defined as laminated covering elements that are smaller than 7 cm and unlaminated covering elements that are smaller than 10 cm. Toothing range from 3 x 3 to 6 x 6 mm.

Pressing and tapping the mosaic with a jointing board will ensure good embedding and flatness. Glass mosaics have a very dense surface. In wet areas and outdoor areas, only mosaics with paper or film glued on the front may be used.

In the case of thin glass mosaics, it is recommended to glue and grout them with epoxy resin joint mortar. Irrespective of the material, attention should also be paid to laying the mosaics in an almost cavity-free manner.
